The homes we create today will be part of our children’s world tomorrow. Better insulation, efficient cooling, responsible water use, renewable energy, healthier materials and smarter technologies can all reduce the resources our homes require while maintaining—and often improving—the comfort and quality of the spaces we live in.
Sustainability does not need to mean sacrificing comfort or completely changing the way we live. It is about doing things better: eliminating unnecessary consumption, using resources more efficiently and choosing solutions that make sense for both our homes and the environment.
